Turtles!

There is something surreal about sea turtles.  Maybe it is the fact that they wait30 years before returning to their birthplace to lay eggs, or that they continue doing so 3 x a year over the next 70 years.   While it may seem strange to crouch down to watch 80-120 ping pong sized eggs drop into a hole in the sand, it is still rather mind boggling.  Last night we divided the kids into two groups, and hit the beach.  Over the next 2hours both groups witnessed the process, and then watched as the volunteer researchers recorded their data.
