What's for dinner?

What is a typical Costa Rican dish? Aside from the gallo pinto (rice and beans mixture) they also eat very local. Yuca grows throughout the region, and it might be steamed, puréed, fried or even used in desserts. Heart of palm is also very typical, and is generally served in a salad. Feeling somewhat adventurous last evening at dinner, we ordered "pejibaye" which is known as peach palm in English. It is boiled and puréed into a soup, with the color of butternut squash. No cream is added to the soup yet it a rich, thick incredibly tasty soup.
